Is there any difference btw Hair chalks and Soft Pastels?

It's becoming a common trend among teenagers to dye up their hair with soft pastels instead of  Dip dye available at almost EVERY Stationary store. This has become a common fashion as it's very cheap, washable and easy to do at home.

Some Beauty shops are selling the same pastels as Hair Chalks which are quite expensive (at least compared to the original pastel).

Many girls have been asking me whether both are the same thing or is there a difference between the two. I, personally used both and my opinion will be that if someone is selling you Hair chalks at higher prices more than 10$ or so, DON'T BUY IT. May be there's a small difference between the qualities of those Chalks BUT believe me there isn't.

Using the pastels is simple and fun but messy.

You can check the video i'm going to link down about how to use them.

There are some Dis-advantages too. e.g. it will damage your hair as its pastels and you will have to use heat to seal in the colour. It's quite messy (I'd prefer use a towel while doing it).

Overall it looks super cool  in all hairstyles. :)
